How do you ship to Pennsylvania?
1. Which carrier do you use?We use UPS and USPS. For very large orders, we ship via Air Cargo with Southwest or Delta for same-day shipping at about $1.00 per pound. Please contact our customer service if your order weighs more than 45 pounds and you can drive to PHL or PIT.
2. How long does delivery take?
We always tell you the day we ship and speed when you choose your shipping method. For example, today is Sunday, and a current method reads "Ships Monday: UPS 2nd Day," meaning it will arrive on Wednesday.
3. How are the mealworms packed so they stay alive during shipping?
We pack them in a nylon bag, then place the bag inside a ventilated box. Inside the bag, we use loosely crumpled soy paper to give them lots of surface area so they do not 'pool' on top of one another. They can safely eat this paper on the journey as needed as well.
