Can fruit flies overbreed in the container?

The fruit flies I have are thriving to the point the container has an insane amount of larvae in it. What do I do?

Be sure to use or release the flies if your culture gets crowded or your culture will start to crash from overcrowding.
You can pour the excess flies into another container and freeze them to euthanize them before safe disposal in a sealed container.
