How old is your beardie?
A dragon older than one year should eat 2/3 of the diet as salad and only 1/3 feeder insects. They should be eating a lot of greens. Here is a list of vegetables that you can feed chopped into bite-size pieces: * Mustard Greens * Collard Greens * Escarole * Endive * Dandelion Greens * Butternut Squash * Snap/Snow Peas * Nopales Leaves (de-spined) You can find out about salad feeding and other occasional veggies you can include here: http://www.beautifuldragons.com/Nutri... If keeping greens fresh is an issue, I highly recommend this product, which keeps greens fresh for weeks: https://www.rubbermaid.com/freshworks... Bearded dragons also like these fruits in particular, but too much sugar is stressful on their pancreas and should be fed in moderation. * Apples (sweet varieties) * Blueberries * Prickly Pears * Strawberries
