Are these mealworms REALLY USA-grown AND are they currently available to ship (fresh)? Mealworms

Recently ordered from another company who took the payment & for 10 days, ignored me. Finally got in touch with them and received an e-mail apologising for the delay with an assurance that the order would be shipped that day. And hour later, another e-mail saying the order was cancelled, they didn't have the "fresh" quantity. Won't go through that again.

And aside from that, I've seen too many companies that use the USA flag on their packaging, claim that their mealworms are USA-grown and I dig a little deeper only to find that the company is located in the USA, their packaging is made and printed in the USA BUT the mealworms are from CHINA!

I won't eat anything from China. I don't want "things" in my house that are from China. So I'm skeptical and cynical. Rainbow says the mealworms are grown in the USA. Are they REALLY?

PS: Tried to call on Thursday morning, 10.00am Just got a recording. Scary.

We own a city block with three locations to grow our worms in sunny southern California.

We have many videos on YouTube and have been visited by Huell Howser, PBS, and Dav Kaufman's Reptile Adventures, all of which tours can be seen online.
