We absolutely ship to Washington State! Overnight is always the best with crickets, and of course, if your temps are below 55° then we ask that you choose "Hold for Pickup" for our live guarantee.
This is a general rule for feeding Leopard Geckos:
- Baby Geckos: Insects that are around 0.25 to 0.5" long
- Juvenile Geckos: Insects that are around 0.5 to 0.75" long
- Adult geckos: Insects that are 0.75" to 1.0" long
As a rule, you shouldn't feed your gecko insects bigger than the space between his eyes. Here is a photo that explains why; as you can see there is a lot of 'cheek' on either side of the gecko's throat:
All the breeders we sell to base their diet for babies on small-sized mealworms and supplement with other feeders from the list below for variety. You can purchase our Gecko Sampler Pack for various foods for your new pet to see what they like.
Leopard geckos eat crickets, mealworms, superworms, waxworms, Phoenix Worms®, hornworms, and Dubia Roaches.
We recommend our No Escapee Feeder Dish if you haven't got a feeding dish. To ensure your gecko is eating, you can put in 10 mealworms every night at bedtime. In the morning, you can count them to see if he or she is eating and how many.
If you'd like to have a look, we supply Steve Sykes (who is the guru of Leopard Geckos), and he has a very good care sheet for them: Leopard Gecko Care Sheet
Thank you so much, we look forward to feeding your Leopard Gecko!
