They will live very happily alongside one another as long as there is enough moisture for your Buffalo Beetles and their larvae. If they don't have moisture provided in the form of carrots, etc. they will eat the eggs of their own beetles as well as the eggs of your Dermestid beetles.
Just be sure to keep them well-fed with either moist meats if you're doing taxidermy or starchy vegetables like potatoes or carrots if you have a colony.
