Buffalo Beetles are completely safe and edible, but you won't get a lot of food for what you are paying for. They're about the size of a Ladybug!
The Buffalo beetles are sold as cleaner crew, and while in your enclosure if you pick out the larvae they are about the size of a Small Mealworm at 1/2 to 3/4" long they can also be safely eaten by reptiles.
Superworms, Dubia, Crickets, Butterworms, Phoenix Worms, and the occasional Waxworm or Hornworms as treats are much more nutritional options for a Beardie!
