Yes, you sure can!
Your mealworms will arrive in a cup with bran as their food.
If you put them in the fridge, they will become dormant and not need to eat.
If you want to keep them at room temperature, then transfer them to a shallow Tupperware type container with the lid off, and give them some pieces of carrot so they'll have a water source too.
When you need to remove them for feeding, a plastic fork works really well!
