Do both the beetles and larva clean or is one more effective then the other ?

The larvae and beetles both are ravenous eaters, but the larvae mainly eat grains. The beetles will eat manure and decaying organic material very readily, however, and are the more superior stage rather than the larvae.
Beetles live very long lives between one and two years.
