I'm so sorry to hear your crickets are dying. Let's see first if we can get to the bottom of what is causing them to die off. It very likely might be a temperature problem. When kept at either extreme they will rapidly start dying, especially if they are kept too cool. Crickets need to be kept very warm, we actually keep ours at 90° in our growing rooms. They can survive at lower temperatures, but not for very long when the temperature is lower than 65°. If you have an instant-read type thermometer, it might help determine if they are warm enough. A reptile basking bulb or an under-cage heat tape can often be used to keep them warm at night. They need adequate food and water. We HIGHLY recommend using Repashy Bug Burger as it has not only their complete nutritional requirements but also provides their water. The protein percentage is perfect for crickets as well.
We find that by switching to Bug Burger and raising (or lowering) the temperature increases longevity and stops the heavy die-off at the 3 to 4 week age.
