bugs Mealworms

I received my mealworms today and there are a lot of small bugs in with them. What are they and should I get rid of them?

I looked up the cleaning crew bugs. That is what they look like. Are they safe for my mealworms and animals?

They are absolutely safe to be with the Mealworms!
We are chemical-free and use them as a biological method of keeping our bins free of detritus or decaying vegetation and dead insects. They keep our colonies thriving by preventing bacterial or fungal contamination that might otherwise occur.
We do not suggest feeding them to animals, as they have a lot of chitin and cannot be gut-loaded with anything beneficial to your pet. They won't harm your pet if one is eaten, but there are much better feeder options!
