Red Runner Roaches cannot climb glass or containers with slippery sides. They will use rough surfaces in your enclosure to escape, so unless there is nothing reaching the upper edge of your container you will need to put either a screened lid on your enclosure or a strip of 3" shiny tape around the inner surface.
