Absolutely never! We do not use animal protein in our feed.
Our mealworms are only ever fed:
Wheat Bran: We purchase our bran locally from a mill that also supplies bakeries.
Carrots: We purchase the carrots that are also sold to restaurants as well as Albertson's Supermarkets for human consumption. We take the carrots that have cracks or have imperfections (e.g. are crooked) and aren't 'pretty' enough to be put on display.
