Some of the Mexican Jumping Bean moths will hatch, but others will not be able to make their way out of the bean. To keep them jumping and working on getting out, lightly mist your beans about once a week. Don't let them remain soaking, but enough to provide a little moisture. Once the moths make it out, they will not need to eat and they will only live a few days. They will spend these days looking for a mate, and will then find a nice place to rest.
