The best solution to eliminate fungus gnats is to take a shallow small dish and add cider vinegar mixed with a little dish soap.
Place it in a location your chameleon won't drink from or fall in. In a matter of hours, the fungus gnats will be attracted to the vinegar and be killed by drowning due to the dish soap.
