We can only speak for grain beetles that we raise, unlike many insects they do not pose any risk to humans (unless you're allergic to them!).
They do not bite or sting humans, don't spread disease, and of course, provide us with the wonderful mealworms that are their larvae.
Other beetles have great agricultural value; pollinating flowers and acting as a deterrent to other garden pests. They get rid of decomposing matter, and many people choose to eat beetles.
Beetles are exceptionally helpful to humans!
