Why is shipping so expensive?

Out of curiosity, why is shipping so expensive? Dubia Roaches (who is way more expensive with their pricing on feeders) only charges $7.95, however the shipping cost for a $40 order cost me another $20 in shipping. This won't change me ordering from you, as your prices are the lowest I can find (and I have 17+ reptiles), but every penny counts in my home as I have a total of 20+ animals in my home :) Do you have wholesale pricing for hobbyist?

Superworms are large and overheat easily, they must be packed in larger boxes that dimensionally cost more to ship.
