It's actually the space between the eye that is the best indicator of what size feeder to order.
Here is a photo that explains why your food should be no wider than the width of a dragon's eyes, as you can see there is a lot of 'cheek' on either side of the dragon's throat:
In our Baby Bearded Dragon combo pack the feeders are roughly 1/2 to 3/4" in length, in the Adult Bearded Combo Pack they are 3/4" to 1" in length. The exception to the rule for adults is Superworms which are 1/4" in diameter and go down lengthwise so they fit just fine!
